Sydenham Motor Group has been operating in Te Puke in the Bay of Plenty since 1980 moving in to our purpose built dealership in 1989. My name is Francis Sydenham and with my wife Lynne have been involved as owners of the dealership since 1984. I have always been in the automotive industry since leaving school in 1967 when I served a 6 year mechanical apprenticeship.
I began in vehicle sales in 1977 and really enjoy being involved in what is most probably one of the largest industries not only in New Zealand but also globally. Our New Zealand market has undergone huge changes and will continue to evolve along with the new model vehicles that have greater technical refinements, economy and safety features. We were thrilled to celebrate our 25th year in business with the completion of our brand new state of the art dealership in Tauranga.
