Transform Commercial Ltd was establisshed in 1990 as a dedicated truck & bus paintshop with Ross Harris as Manager/Director and sole employee of the newly formed company. Then in 1998 due to increased client base and work, the lease on the 5000 sq ft building at 82 Birch Avenue Tauranga was taken over and the new company Transform Truckpainters Ltd was started.
Ross has 32 years experience in the refinishing industry with approx 20 years dealing in the Transport sector and also 3 years in the UK painting trucks for a large Ford dealership.
The company now employs a full time staff of 8 which consists of 5 spraypainters, 1 apprentice, 1 junior, Ross's wife Hazel in admin and Ross as Manager/Director. They also employ a school boy and special needs lady for general cleaning duties part time.
Transform Truckpainters Ltd specialise in the refinishing of Trucks, Buses, Mobile Homes, Horse Floats and Alloy Boats. They have a database of over 150 clients with some of New Zealands leading transport companies such as Provincial Freightlines, Central Transport, Auckland Vehicle Deliveries, Mike Lambert Ltd & Fulton Hogan to name a few. They also paint alloy boats for Kingfisher Boats & AMF Boats and new fabricated stockcrates for Nationwide Stockcrates.
Transform use & recommend the Sikkens BT & Autobase Plus 2pac paint system, but will also apply whatever paint system is specified by the customer. They can also arrange Light Engineering, Panelbeating, Sandblasting, Signwriting, Paint Protection,Auto Electrical repairs, Tyre Changes, and all of this can take place in their alarmed workshop.
