Owners Allen and Frances Mills, returning to New Zealand after 7 years of living and traveling overseas, believe their experiences subconsciously influenced their desire to create a business that offers something different and interesting to the customer, a little out of the ordinary, and certainly among the first of it’s kind in what was then the sleepy beach shopping centre of Mount Maunganui.
The Zohar brand is interesting; eclectic yet classy, simple yet intriguing, and upmarket but not intimidating. Our Mount Maunganui gallery shop has a strong focus on art, and a growing reputation for excellence in this area, and both stores offer a combination of New Zealand art with exclusive jewellery, gifts and accessories sourced both locally and overseas.
